Job Title: Power Platform Consultant

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 6 Months

Location:

  • Ontario, Canada [Occasional travel to other provinces as required]

Work Schedule & Availability:

    • Higher allocation during strategy and implementation phases

    • Slight taper during final governance wrap-up

  • Hours: Eastern Time, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM ET throughout the engagement


Position Overview

The organization is seeking an experienced Power Platform Consultant to lead technical and advisory efforts across a full lifecycle engagement. This role blends implementation leadership, project coordination, and governance advisory responsibilities to ensure successful delivery aligned with enterprise compliance standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead advisory workshops and deliverables related to:

    • Licensing strategy

    • Environment strategy

    • Security model design

  • Design and implement Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) pipelines

  • Develop and enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies

  • Ensure all solutions and deliverables align with enterprise compliance and governance standards

  • Develop and deliver knowledge transfer sessions, playbooks, and governance enhancements

  • Facilitate weekly status meetings

  • Manage project risk register and track milestones

  • Support stakeholder communications and project reporting


Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong expertise with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse)

  • Proven experience designing ALM pipelines and DLP policies

  • Experience delivering enterprise-level governance and security models

  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to lead workshops and communicate complex technical concepts effectively
